ABOUT PASHA PARFENI
Moldovan musician, singer, and songwriter known for representing his country in the 2012 and 2023 Eurovision Song Contests. Previously he was the frontman of the Moldovan band SunStroke Project. His song "Soarele si Luna" has garnered more than 10 million streams on Spotify.
He grew up playing music with his family and studied at the Tiraspol Music College. He then attended the State Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts.
During the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, he played the song "Lăutar" and placed 11th. At the 2023 competition, he played "Soarele și luna" and placed 18th.
His parents both played instruments; his mother played the piano and his father played guitar and sang. He is in a relationship with an interior designer named Yuliana Scutaru.
He helped compose and perform the song "A Million", which Aliona Moon sang at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
