ABOUT PAT AARON ANGERER

Retired NFL linebacker that was originally taken by the Indianapolis Colts as a second round pick in the 2010 Draft. Following his 2010 season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team. After three seasons with the Colts, he was then signed by the Atlanta Falcons in 2014 before announcing his retirement that same year.

He was considered a three-star prospect while at Bettendorf High School. Shortly after graduating, he then began playing college football at the University of Iowa .

During his four-year NFL career, he recorded 327 tackles.

He was the son of Mary and Cliff Angerer. He grew up with three older brothers and one older sister. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Porter on July 10, 2010.

He was taken during the 2010 NFL Draft just like Ndamukong Suh and Joe Haden .
