Dwarf film actor who was immortalized as Nikko, the chief of the Winged Monkeys, in The Wizard of Oz . He also appeared in the 1913 film A Good Little Devil.
He started his acting career as a child in vaudeville and Broadway stage productions.
He was the last living cast member of the Wizard of Oz until his death in 1991.
He was married to Grainne Barton Walshe.
He shared the big screen with Judy Garland in the Oscar-winning classic The Wizard of Oz.
