ABOUT PATRICK EKENG
Defensive midfielder who tragically lost his life after collapsing on the field during a match playing for Dinamo București. He had competed for his home country of Cameroon's national team.
He spent 2006 through 2008 in the youth system of Canon Yaoundé before appearing for the club as a professional in 2008-2009.
The ambulance which transported Ekeng to the hospital was found out to have faulty equipment and expired medicine.
He left behind a brother.
He played alongside captain Stéphane Mbia for the Cameroon national team.
