ABOUT PATRICK PEYTON
Irish religious leader who was known as The Rosary Priest and was a Roman Catholic priest who promoted the Rosary.
He was a rebellious child before later working as a sexton for a cathedral in 1928.
He was admitted to the Moreau Seminary within the University of Notre Dame in 1932.
He was born the sixth child in an Irish family of four girls and five boys.
Cardinal Sean Patrick O Malley announced a declaration opening the cause of sainthood for him in June 2001.
