ABOUT PAUL MELVYN CARRACK
English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has gained fame both as a solo artist and as a member of several notable bands. He has been a member of Ace, Roxy Music, and Mike and the Mechanics. His songs have been recorded by popular artists like Tom Jones , Diana Ross , and Linda Ronstadt .
He began his recording career as the keyboard player for obscure progressive jazz rock band Warm Dust.
He was the subject of the 2012 BBC documentary Paul Carrack: The Man with the Golden Voice.
His son, Jack Carrack, is a drummer.
He has written songs with Jim Capaldi and Mike Rutherford .
