ABOUT PAUL KANTNER
Singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist who played with Jefferson Airplane and its spinoff group, Jefferson Starship. He has released music with the KBC Band as well.
He started to revolt against authority after spending his youth in military schools and was inspired to become a musician because of Pete Seeger .
He and the other members of Jefferson Airplane were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
He has a daughter, actress China Kantner , and a son, Gareth Alexander Kantner.
He was a co-founder of the Jefferson Airplane with bandmate Grace Slick .
