American blues and rock guitarist who has worked as the touring guitar player for singer Rod Stewart .
He learned how to play guitar when he was twelve years old and was discovered by Norman Whitfield of Motown Records at seventeen.
His first solo album, One of the Kids, was released in 1980.
He was born to Pearl Elwanda Gribble and Walter Wayne Warren in Garden City, Michigan.
He worked as Richard Marx 's Musical Director for seven years.
