Paul Woodroffe
ABOUT PAUL WOODROFFE
British illustrator and stained-glass artist who illustrated several works including Shakespeare and Roman history and designed fifteen windows for the Lady Chapel of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York in 1909.
He studied as a full-time student at the Slade School of Fine Art in Bloomsbury.
He was elected to be a member of the Art Workers' Guild in 1902.
He married Dorothy Lynch-Staunton in 1907, and they had four children.
He designed windows for the private attic chapel of American actress Mary Anderson .
