ABOUT PEDRO GEOFFROY RIVAS
Salvadoran poet who became known for his rebellious and individualistic themes. His poetic works include Solo Amor, Rumbo, and Yulcuicat.
He studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
His first major work of poetry, Canciones en el viento, was published in 1933.
He was raised as an only child in Santa Ana, El Salvador.
He was a major literary influence upon Spanish poet Pablo Neruda .
