ABOUT PERNELL ROBERTS
Most well known for playing Adam Cartwright on Bonanza and Dr. John McIntyre on Trapper John, MD in addition to over sixty television guest spots.
He was heavily involved with playing the horn and acting in school theater productions while attending high school.
He has also been a proud political activist.
He married first wife, Vera Mowry in 1951, and the couple had a son later that year.
Michael Landon once starred with him in Bonanza.
