ABOUT PETER AMES CARLIN
Journalist and critic who was written for People Magazine and The New York Times Magazine, among other publications.
He graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 1985 after attending Macalester College for a year.
His biography of Bruce Springsteen , entitled Bruce, made it on the New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Sellers list.
He was raised in Seattle, Washington after being born in Syracuse.
His 2009 book, Paul McCartney : A Life, was a biography on the famed Beatles bassist.
