Right-arm medium-fast bowler who is best known for his time with Yorkshire, where he played first class cricket from 1985-1997.
He began his career in 1982 for Warwickshire.
Following his career he became a very successful cricket umpire.
He was born in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
He is one of Yorkshire's more notable cricketers, along with players such as Geoffrey Boycott .
