Irish soap star most well known as Pete Hamill on the long-running series Hollyoaks. He has also had recurring roles in Cast Offs, Doctors , and Coronation Street .
As a teen, he played soccer in Premiere League for Leeds United. However, after a car accident left him paralyzed, his soccer career was lost.
In 2015, he starred in a documentary about his disability for BBC3.
He met his wife Brenda Casey in 2009 and the two began dating, later marrying and settling in Derry.
In the 2015 season of Coronation Street he starred opposite Helen Worth .
