ABOUT PETER PHILIPS

Makeup artist and creative and image director of Christian Dior makeup. He was also formerly the creative director at Chanel Makeup before stepping down in 2013. Working with top photographers and fashion models in Europe and America, he has become a leader in the field of makeup.

He earned a degree in graphic design in Brussels before returning to Antwerp to study fashion at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts. He discovered his calling to makeup while working backstage at Paris Fashion Week.

Early in his career, Peter came to the attention of Karl Lagerfeld , who introduced him to the top circles at Chanel Makeup.

He was born in Antwerp, Belgium.

He has done makeup for Anya Taylor-Joy , which he posted about in May 2022.
