ABOUT PETER WATERFIELD
British Olympic synchronized swimmer who took the silver medal in the 2004 Athens games, and came in 4th in London in 2012.
He first began competing at the 2000 games in Sydney, both in the solo event and with his former partner Leon Taylor .
While his funding was originally cut after the 2012, games, the decision was overturned in 2013, and he was given a six month contract in April of that year.
He was born in Waltham Forest, London.
Tom Daley was another hero of England after his diving performance at the 2012 games.
