ABOUT PETRE MITO ANDREEVSKI
Twentieth-century Macedonian poet and author whose works include Pirey (novel) and Knots (poems). Also an editor, he worked for a journal called Razgledi.
Early in his career, he worked for Macedonian National Television.
The author of poetry, novels, children's books, plays, and short stories, he was a two-time recipient of the Miladinov Brothers literary honor.
His family lived in the village of Sloestica, Macedonia at the time of his birth.
Like fellow Macedonian poet Simeon Simev , Andreevski attended university in Skopje.
