He first began his acting career at the age of nine and by 2014 had earned a small extra role in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes .
He earned his first major acting role in 2015 playing Nick Harrison in the feature film Impact Earth.
He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.
In Netflix's Stranger Things, he stars opposite Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown .
