Retired prop for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Gold Coast Chargers.
He represented Sydney, New South Wales, and Australia in under-18 play.
He was cut from NSW for leaving camp to visit his pregnant wife.
His son Bon became a professional rugby player as well.
He and fellow Australian Jason Hetherington both played for the Gold Coast Chargers.
