ABOUT PHIL JAGIELKA

English centre back who joined Everton F.C. in 2007 after spending his first seven seasons with Sheffield United. He became a member of England's national team in 2008.

He began his youth career with Sheffield United at age 16.

He earned his team's top honors by being named the Everton Player of the Season for the 2008-2009 campaign.

He was raised with three siblings: Stephen, Barbara and Nicola.

He became teammates with Wayne Rooney after joining England's national team in 2008.
