ABOUT PHIL LEWIS
Glam metal lead singer who fronted the band L.A. Guns, beginning in 1985. He also worked with The Liberators and Filthy Lucre. He contributes to the 80s metal music website Metal Sludge under the name Al Snug.
He went to school in England before moving to the United States. He released his first album with Girl in 1980.
He has also performed with New Torpedos and Torme. He sang on a cover of "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" by Def Leppard .
He married Junko Lewis.
He replaced Paul Black as the lead singer of L.A. Guns.
