ABOUT PHIL WESTERN
Canadian electronic music artist and producer who performed on Skinny Puppy's 1996 album The Process. He has also been involved in a number of other electronic projects, including Download and Plateau. He was a co-founder of the independent record label Subconscious Records.
One of his earliest solo works was Power/Touched, a 12" split with aDuck that was released in 1993.
He played keyboards and did drum programming for "I Am a Pig" by Rob Halford 's industrial metal band 2wo. He also collaborated with Bryan Adams on the single "On a Day Like Today." He died at the age of 47 from fentanyl poisoning.
He was from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
He met '80s synth-pop sensation Gary Numan in 2018.
