ABOUT PHILLIP ALFORD

Actor most famous for his role as the young Jem Finch in the classic 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird. He won to appear in movies like 1965's Shenandoah and on TV shows like The Intruders.

He acted in theatre productions in Birmingham before before auditioning for the role of Jem.

He was inducted into the Alabama Walk of Fame in 1989.

His sister Eugenia was the stand-in for actress Mary Badham in To Kill a Mockingbird.

He played the son of Gregory Peck , who played the iconic role of Atticus Finch, in To Kill a Mockingbird.
