ABOUT PIA LINDSTROM

Best known as the daughter and first child of the legendary film actress Ingrid Bergman , she also had a successful career as a San Francisco and New York-based news anchor.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, to and surgeon Petter Aron Lindström, she was raised primarily by her father.

She earned two Emmy Awards and an Associated Press honor for her work as a broadcast journalist.

Following a brief marriage to Fuller Earle Callaway, III, she married Joseph Daly, with whom she had two sons. After divorcing Daly, she married John Carley.

After her mother left her father for director Roberto Rossellini, she acquired several half-siblings, including actress Isabella Rossellini .
