ABOUT POKEY BEAR

Southern blues musician who is known for injecting a larger-than-life swagger into his classic R&B-infused bayou soul music. He is known for mixing both old classic styles with current upbeat trends. His song "My Sidepiece" has garnered over 7 million streams on Spotify.

With a passion for music at a young age, he began playing with several other musicians. He helped form the band The Louisiana Blues Brotha's where he was one of three members. Shortly after, he delved into his own solo endeavors.

He has toured and played across the country with a variety of musicians including in March of 2017 when he played with special guest Jenarashunz Band. In September 2020, he released his 10-song album Crown Me.

He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He has stated his inspirations as James Brown and Willie Clayton .
