ABOUT POOKY QUESNEL

Known for her role as Nita on the BBC's True Dare Kiss and for her portrayals of Monica Broome on Cardiac Arrest and Grace Harris on ITV's Thief Takers. She is also famous for her recurring role as Emma on the series Cold Feet.

Before joining the cast of Cardiac Arrest, she studied English at Oxford University.

Apart from her acting career, she wrote screenplays for episodes of Family Affairs and Doctors.

Born Joanna Quesnell, she grew up in Lancashire, England with six siblings.

She was the second actress to play the Rachel Branning Character, the ex-wife of Jake Wood s's character, Max Branning on the popular British soap opera EastEnders.
