Rhythm guitarist for the indie-rock outfit Whitney, which earned acclaim with their debut album Light Upon the Lake.
Before Whitney, he performed with a group called Bass Drum of Death.
He first met former Smith Western members and Whitney founders Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek in 2014 while Julien was touring with Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
He is from Oxford, Mississippi.
He and Josiah Marshall have both played stringed instruments for the band Whitney.
