Became known as fly-half for the QSD Reds and the Australian national team.
He attended Forest View High School.
He represented Australia in the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
His cousin Sean Maitland also became a professional rugby player.
He and fellow Australian Peter Hynes both played for the Reds and Wallabies.
