Actress best known for The Summer I Turned Pretty , and portraying Cher Horowitz in the television series Clueless. She also appeared in the 2000 film Road Trip. She has amassed over 60 acting roles throughout her ongoing career.
Her first acting job was in a commercial for McDonalds.
She visited several L.A. schools to prepare for her role in Clueless and was surprised by how close to the movie some of them were. In 2014, she played Kitty Nygaard in the first season of the popular TV show Fargo.
She has a sister and brother. She married Jeremy Turner.
She played Mercedes in Samuel L. Jackson 's campy classic film Snakes On a Plane.
