She began blogging in 2007 and created her YouTube channel in 2013 after spending a year chronicling her life on camera.

Her blog's name, That's Chic, is based on Paris Hilton 's phrase "That's hot." She's said that she doesn't like her style to emulate other people. Well, except for Kate Moss .

She grew up in Orange County.
