ABOUT RAHUL TRIPATHI
Veteran right-handed batter and athlete that began his professional career with the Maharashtra cricket team as a teenager in the year 2010. During his career, he has primarily played cricket in the Indian Premier League. He has also played for the Indian men's national team.
He first began playing cricket as a young boy coming up. He would eventually go-on to sign his first professional club contract with Maharashtra at the young age of 18.
While playing with the Indian men's national team, he won a gold medal at the 19th annual Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. He and his teammates won the 2022 Asian Games after defeating Team Afghanistan in the championship match.
He is a native of Ranchi, India.
He played alongside Rohit Sharma during the 2022 Asian Games.
