ABOUT RAJ KAPOOR
Indian actor who became known for his films, Awaara and Boot Polish, both of which were nominated for the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival. His other films include 1967's Diwana and 1955's Shree 420.
He attended Colonel Brown Cambridge School and appeared in his first film at age 11.
His performance in Awaara was called one of the top 10 performances of all time by Time magazine. His sons finished his final film, Henna, which was released after his death.
His brothers Shashi and Shammi are both actors.
He had a long relationship with Hindi actress Nargis Dutt .
