ABOUT RALPH TUCKER

Politician who was a long-standing mayor of Terre Haute, Indiana from 1948 to 1968. He left office at the beginning of 1968 and started his own public relations firm.

He worked as a salesman in Chicago and for the Terre Haute radio station WBOW.

He only served one term in his first office position, beginning in 1938, after being elected city clerk.

He was raised by his older sister after being in an orphanage until he was ten years old and later married in 1936.

He is a famous Mayor like the former mayor of Boston, Thomas Menino .
