ABOUT RANDALL PINKSTON
American broadcast journalist known for his work with CBS News and Al-Jazeera America. He was a contributor to the CBS documentary Legacy of Shame.
He graduated from Millsaps College and worked as an anchor in Mississippi from 1971 to 1974 before he went to the University of Connecticut for his law degree and started working at CBS as a White House Correspondent.
He won three consecutive Emmy Awards in 1996, 1997, and 1998.
He married Patricia MacLain in 1982 and they had three daughters.
He worked with Dan Rather on the CBS Documentary Legacy of Shame.
