ABOUT RAQUEL MARTIN

Multimedia journalist, reporter, and television host who is known for having worked for ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles as well as an Assistant News Producer for the San Diego station KUSI News. She is also known for having been a Washington DC Correspondent for the Nexstar Media Group.

She earned her degree in Journalism and Political Science from San Diego State University in 2014. She then went on to hold a broadcast news internship at NBC San Diego as well as the San Diego Union Tribune. She gained further attention working for KABC TV and the ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles.

She moved to Springfield, Illinois where she started working as a Statehouse Reporter for the WCIA 3.

She was born in Spain and she grew up in California.

Cheryl Scott is a fellow reporter and journalist who is also known for having worked for the ABC7 Eyewitness News Program.
