ABOUT RAY KELVIN

Famous as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Glasgow and London-based Ted Baker clothing retailer, Kelvin was the 2011 recipient of the coveted Commander of the Order of the British Empire honor.

When he was just eleven years old, he began working in a men's clothing store owned by his uncle.

In 2007, the University of Bath presented Kelvin with an honorary doctoral degree in business.

His six-year marriage to British actress Georgia Slowe resulted in sons named Ben and Josh. In 2012, he married his second wife, Clare.

He and American businessman David Abercrombie both founded successful clothing retail chains.
