ABOUT RAY KNIGHT

Former MLB third baseman who took home the World Series MVP Award in 1986.

He was drafted by the Reds in 1970, and would play in the minor leagues for four seasons before making his MLB debut.

He helped the Mets win the World Series in 1986 and was named NL Comeback Player of the Year in the same year.

He had three daughters with his second wife, LPGA golfer Nancy Lopez .

He replaced Pete Rose as third baseman of the Cincinnati Reds in 1974.
