Former NHL winger whose career spanned from 1986 to 2001. He played for six different teams, with his best year coming in 1993-94 with the Detroit Red Wings, where he scored 52 goals.
He was drafted 60th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 1984.
He was named the 2nd best golfer amongst athletes (of sports other than golf) by Golf Digest.
He has an older brother named Chess Sheppard.
He played with goaltender John Vanbiesbrouck on the Florida Panthers from 1995 to 1998.
