ABOUT REBECCA JONES
Famous for her protagonist roles in the telenovelas Para Volver a Amar, El Alma Herida, Imperio de Cristal, and Cuna de Lobos, she was also notable for playing antagonists in Senora Acero and Pasion Prohibida. She appeared in over 1,000 episodes of television throughout her prolific career.
She began her television acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in El Amor Nunca Muere, El Maleficio, and several other telenovelas.
Her performances in El Angel Caido and Imperio de Cristal won her TVyNovelas Awards in 1986 and 1995, respectively. In 2023, she played her final on-screen role as Carolina in the movie Nada Que Ver.
Born Rebecca Jones Fuentes Berain, she grew up in Mexico City. Her more than two-decade marriage to actor Alejandro Camacho resulted in a son named Maximiliano Jones Camacho.
She co-starred with Ernesto Laguardia in the 1992 Televisa series La Sonrisa del Diablo.
