ABOUT RED BADGRO
Hall of Fame defensive end who played for various 1930s-era New York football teams. He also briefly played professional baseball for the St. Louis Browns.
He spent his college football career with USC and debuted provisionally in 1927.
In addition to playing for the New York Giants, he spent time on two short-lived NFL teams: the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers.
His father's name was Walter Bagero.
He was on the 1930 New York Giants team that played an exhibition game against a Notre Dame all-star team assembled by Knute Rockne .
