ABOUT REGAN WEST

Irish former all-rounder who has played internationally for both the Irish and New Zealand national teams. Domestically, he played for teams like the Central District Stags and Wellington Firebirds.

He was born in New Plymouth, Taranaki and made his ODI debut for Ireland against Kenya in August 2008.

He was named Northern Ireland Player of the Year in 2005.

His brother is fellow professional cricketer Gareth West. He married a woman from Northern Ireland.

He and Jesse Ryder both played for Central Districts.
