Tight end who made his NFL debut in 1999 with the Atlanta Falcons; he also played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2003-2010.

He played college football at Mississippi State and made first-team All-SEC in 1998.

He won the Ed Block Courage Award in 2007.

He was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi.

All-Pro running back Jamal Anderson was his teammate on the Falcons.
