Actress known for playing Ms. Kelly in the Netflix series Stranger Things . She acted in the television series' Watchmen , Queen of the South , and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier . She has appeared in films including Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It .
She has a bachelor's degree from University of Texas at Austin in Spanish and Business. Her first screen roles included commercials, short films and the 2014 television series SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation.
In 2016, she was a finalist selected from more than 10,000 submissions for CBS's Diversity Drama Initiative Program. She has coached HIIT kickboxing and is a self-proclaimed tennis fanatic.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has two dogs, Chewie and Leia.
