ABOUT REN
Welsh musician who first gained fame for his work as one half of indie duo, Trick the Fox. He released his debut solo album, Freckled Angels, in 2016. In 2022, he released the single "Hi Ren," the video for which went on to rack up millions of views on YouTube.
He studied music performance at Bath Spa University.
Atwood Magazine named him one of its Artists to Watch in 2023. His renmakesmusic TikTok account, which features video clips of his street performances, has gained upwards of 4.3 million followers. He also uses his TikTok page to promote some of his latest content. Over time, the content on his channel has helped him receive more than 42 million total likes.
His birth name is Ren Erin Gill.
He collaborated with Sam Tompkins on the 2018 single "Blind Eyed."
