ABOUT RENEE FRENCH
Celebrated illustrator and comics writer who's known for what has been described as an obsessive and unsettling visual style. She has worked on numerous publications including H Day, Micrographica, The Soap Lady, as well as a serialized story called Almost Sound.
She authored children's books under the pen name Rainy Dohaney.
She won the Inkpot Award at San Diego Comic-Con in 2007 for the graphic novel The Ticking.
She married author and programmer Rob Pike.
She shot to fame as a talented American illustrator like Molly Bang and Jeremy Evans .
