ABOUT REX MILLER
An American mystery writer, he is best known for his Chaingang books, which follow the adventures of Homicide Detective Jack Eichord as he hunts down serial killer Daniel Bunkowski. Miller's other works include Frenzy, Iceman, and Saint Louis Blues.
He worked as a disc jockey during the 1960s. He published his first novel, Slob, in 1987.
His 1989 novel, Profane Men, takes place during the Vietnam War.
He was born and raised in Sikeston, Missouri. He later married Carol Spangberg.
He won the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel.
