ABOUT RHASIDAT ADELEKE
Professional sprinter and athlete who primarily competes in the women's 100-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter events. She also competes in the indoor 60-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter events. She is a member of the Ireland women's national team.
As a teenager, she was named a member of the Irish youth national team. She later received a track scholarship from the University of Texas .
In January of 2024, she ran the women's 60-meter in 7.15 seconds, which is an Irish national record. She also recorded an Irish national record in the women's 200-meter with a 22.49-second finish.
Growing up, she lived with her family in Dublin, Ireland. She is of Nigerian descent.
She is a former University of Texas collegiate athlete just like LaMarcus Aldridge and Ricky Williams .
