ABOUT RHYS BENNETT
Former teenage soccer phenom and athlete that initially signed his first professional club contract with Manchester United in the year 2020. Just one year later, he was named captain of Manchester United's U-18 squad that won the FA Youth Cup.
He originally discovered his passion for playing soccer as a young boy coming up. He was just six years old when he began attending the Stalybridge Celtic Football Club's junior academy.
He made his official club debut with Man U's senior squad while playing against the Bolton Wanderers on the date of September 26, 2023. Unfortunately, he and his squad lost the match with a score of 8-1. He was eventually called up to Man U's senior level squad in July of 2023.
He grew up living with his family in Manchester, England.
He is a former Manchester United youth academy member just like Marcus Rashford , Ryan Giggs and David Beckham .
