ABOUT RIC CHARLESWORTH
Diverse and successful former Member of Parliament who played professional cricket and field hockey, and was coach of the Australian women's hockey team.
He was the captain of Western Australia State's U-19 team in 1969.
He won a silver medal at the 1976 Olympics in field hockey.
He was born in Subiaco, Western Australia.
He attended the same school, University of Western Australia, as Bob Hawke .
