ABOUT RICH JOHN KARLIS

Former kicker who played for the Denver Broncos , Minnesota Vikings , Detroit Lions , Atlanta Falcons and the Houston Oilers during his nine-year NFL career. He was known primarily for being one of the last kickers in NFL history to kick barefoot.

Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Cincinnati .

During his NFL career, he kicked over 172 field goals barefoot.

He is a native of Salem, Ohio.

He played alongside John Elway as a member of the Broncos during the 1983 NFL season.
